When unassigning settlers, most menus will update automatically.See who is assigned to these objects and unassign them if you want.View vanilla workshop objects (objects that are part of plots will not be shown).Unassign settlers from plots or workshop objects they are assigned to (only unassign - assignment must be done manually).See what a settler is assigned to (including workshop objects that are not part of plots).
The same applies to training plots, which say something like Ta).
You can even see if the training plot they are on is training the special stat they need for their job (if they have a job that is boosted by a Special Stat, it will say something like Ja - this is a job boosted by agility.
See at a glance who has a Home, a Job and/or a Hobby. Show settler SPECIAL stats if you have the vitamatic (once you get the vitamatic, shoot it at the terminal to turn on this function. View settlers in need (ie, no job, no hobby, diseased etc). Unassign settlers from the plot (only unassign - assignment must be done manually). See who is assigned to a plot and the status of the plot. View plots in need of something (like the red holo icons that appear above the plot if you have that on). View summary information about plots of each type (number of plots, occupancy, amount at each level). So F:-i means there is just enough food, which is being imported) i is import, e is export, * means no sharing is available. See how Food, Water, Power and Defense is distributed across your network ( Note : on the page listing all settlements in the network, s is surplus, d is deficit, - means needs are just met. Again, the numbers will only be accurate if using SS2 caravan plots. See the total surplus or deficit food, water, power and defense across your network. IDEKs logistics station uses its own distribution code) See how much food, water, power and defense the settlement has, as well as if it is importing or exporting these through caravan ( NOTE : the numbers for food and water imports and exports will only be accurate if SS2 caravan plots are used. See the happiness and sanitation ratings of the settlement. Get information on the number of plots used (homes, jobs and hobbys), as well as workshop jobs. The information the terminal gives you is information you would otherwise be able to get from other methods, it would just take you a lot longer. Like most things in SS2, play around and see what you can find! I've tried to make the layout intuitive, but here is a brief description of the menu options. The terminal can be found in the SS2 furniture workshop menu.
